Self-Assessment Tax Return and Full Year Statements:
The time has come to start thinking about completing your Self-Assessment tax return. For those who would like some guidance or assistance with this, you can find information from Scottish Government here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/help-and-support-for-landlords#self-assessment which includes a step by step walkthrough webinar on how to complete the UK property income section of your online tax return.

For those who would like us to provide you with a full year statement, we would like to offer it to you for a reduced price at £24 (including VAT). We normally charge £60 (including VAT), but feel that especially during these times it is at least something we can do for you and trust that it would be of benefit.

COVID-19 changes to eviction procedures:

In our last email we mentioned changes to the notice period that the landlord is required to give the tenant. Tenant Help:
We continue to advise all tenants of the information and support available to them as and when the information becomes available or updated. Scottish Association of Landlords assists in guidance us in our communication with tenants about procedure to follow if there is concerns about ability to pay rent.
